| We’ve become slaves to our “morals”. |

We’ve become slaves to our “morals”.
Morals that bother me are those that control our right to live a fulfilled life. Origins of morals can be traced back to many sources, some religious, some philosophical, but few consistent to human nature.
Morals produce barriers in interactions; they produce arrogance and self-righteousness. Morals are sometimes connected with hatred. But, morals are needed to create civilizations, without morals we wouldn’t have laws, and without laws chaos would rule.
Past civilizations such as the Romans and Greeks practiced polygamy and homosexuality openly and freely. After the introduction of major religions (Christianity, Islam) those practices faded. With religion came a sense of intolerance towards men’s need for diverse sexual experiences. Morals that limit our humane drive for sex, touch, and polygamy in my book are immoral.
Protest the ignorance and intolerance, de-program those morals that enslave our humanity, and liberate that humane urge.
